TfL contracted Trapeze to deliver Adiona (formerly FutureBus) in 2018. This ambitious project replaces a number of legacy back-office solutions, bringing ‘one version of the truth’ to the management of all bus service data in London.
The project is currently ongoing and is planned to go live later this year.
Adiona will enable TfL to build a library of approved diversions for implementation during disruption, ensuring continued quality of passenger information and monitoring of bus operator contracts.
Adiona interfaces with iBus and other TfL systems. Ensuring that these interfaces can continue to operate without disruption has been a key part of the design process.
Integrated for Operators
Adiona shares a platform with Novus SchedulePlus, enabling operators to quickly submit compatible tender responses, and prioritise time for producing efficient schedules.
“Adiona is a vital investment in our core bus management systems… it will provide a single modern repository of key service information that will be central to our planning, operational and ticketing systems.”
